Who am I?
Hi! My name's Rachel, if you've not already noticed. That's me up there in the picture, with my pet monkey, George. I'm a 20 year old college student, although, currently not enrolled anywhere and I moonlite as a web developer. I'll be returning to school part time this fall and then later (not sure how much later) I'll transfer to Concordia University-- RF, Illinois and become a full-time student. I'll be majoring in Youth Ministry and minoring in Theology.
I'm engaged to a wonderful man, Jeffrey. He has written reviews here at Epinions, but not many as he has little time to write. He's a free-lance illustrator and wonderful at it I might add. Jeff and I've not yet set a date, we're still trying to decide how big of a wedding we'll be able to afford.
I live in Tennessee (great football team, but Nebraska's better!!!). I've lived here all my life, but luckily, don't have a southern drawl. I'm a member of the Lutheran Church-- Missouri Synod and plan to have a career as a professional church worker within the Synod.
My Hobbies/ Interests
I love to read and watch movies. Some of my favorites I've reviewed, some I will review. I enjoy graphic design, although I'm not yet a pro. I created web sites as often as I have time. My web site was created in only a few hours, so it's not my best work-- just threw something together. I love to fly. Eventually, when I'm not a lowly college student, I plan on getting my PPL-- Private Pilot's License. Thus far, I have about half of the hours I need. If anyone would like to donate a small jet, email me for details. :) heh. Another passion of mine is drawing, although I don't do it nearly as much as I'd like-- for a couple reasons, I'd have to compete with another artist, my fiancé, Jeffrey and he's way better at it than I am, and I've simply not got the time or drive to do it right now.
I love children. I want to have a zillion of them, well, maybe only 3. Looking forward to beginning a family in the next few years.

I try to rate as fair as possible, and hope you do the same. If for some reason you give me a low rating, I'm not going to retaliate by adding you to my W-O-D or giving all your opinions bad ratings, but I'd really appreciate it if you left me a comment as to why you rated it low.
I don't get to write as often as I like, but occasionally you may see a new review pop up from me. So be looking!
My WOD List
Well, I didn't think I'd ever use this. But, I have. Since my profile doesn't display my WOD list, I thought I'd display it for you. There's currently 1 person on the list. mcafee-guy would be him. So far, he's written 2 reviews. Both of which are gibberish. One is self- described as that. I made the mistake of giving him .04$. Don't make the same mistake I did.
My WOT List
I add persons on my web of trust list only after I've read several of their reviews. At least 10-15. Depending upon how many reviews they've written. I don't add a person and expect them to reciprocate by adding me. Likewise, I won't add a person to my list just because they added me to their's. So, if you're just adding me so I'll add you, don't bother. If you add me to your list and I don't add you, don't be a child and remove me, just don't add me to begin with. -s-
Revenge Rating....Muhahaha
Who hasn't been affected, by the dreaded "Revenge Rating" in some way? I think at one time or another, we all have-- whether we've DONE it or someone's done it to us, most of us have tasted its "bitterness". I've been revenge rated (anonymously of course) although I've yet to revenge rate, but I'm thinking of starting a new policy:
I'll not revenge rate you if you don't revenge rate me. But if you do, may God help you. I'll hit you with NRs from all 400,000 of my Epinions aliases. Take some of that!!!!! :-D
I find this terribly funny, people bytch and moan about the negative aspect of revenge rating-- report the abuse everyone says! Tell the Epinion gods what's happening and fry those horrible folks that revenge rated me. Let 'em burn!
What about those folks that revenge rate you positively? Shall we report them for abuse as well? If you've not been involved in a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch your back" rating circle, you're one in a million and you're really missing out! Works like this:
I visit your profile page and give you HRs (or now VHs) on all of your reviews, BUT you must return the favor by giving HRs to all of my reviews. (For those who like a little added twist--)If within a week (I'm nice, I'll give you a week) you've not HRed me, I'm going to go back to each of your reviews that I HRed and NR them all-- anonymously.
Even if I only suspect you of revenge rating me, I'm going to hitcha. And if you didn't, then I'm just going to take delight in starting that vicious circle all over. It's fun, we should all participate in this practice!
