Bio update: as of July 2000, I'm now a full-time freelance writer, specializing in travel and health writing. You can check out some of my stuff via my Web site (yes, I've been promising it for a year, and it's finally up): http://www.vagabondmedia.com.
Oddly enough, I didn't get my first passport until I was 24--my parents were never much into international travel, and our most frequent vacation destination was a campground in South Dakota--but then I took off for Costa Rica and found myself immediately hooked. Since then: Mexico, the Caribbean England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, and various parts of Canada including Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
Next stop--a 16-day jaunt to Rome and Tunisia, which should generate many more travel Epinions.
