About giniroberts

I enjoy objects of beauty and I believe in the worth of those around me. My home and family give me my greatest sense of pleasure. I enjoy going out of my way to "discover" those special things on the road that is less traveled.
I have always enjoyed the written word as there seems to be so much power in the carefully worded prose. I wrote my first "book" at age ten, but unfortunately didn't have the wisdom to keep it from a Graduate Children's Lit major who absconded with it during the Spring semester. I have entered a few contests for historical essays and placed well and have even written some poetry. I'm currently working on two children's books and hope to have them accepted for publishing. During my late teens I served as a freelance special interest reporter for a local newspaper and even landed a few "legit" news articles.
