I've performed as a member of several groups in rock, jazz, folk, pop, funk and worldbeat, in such prestigious venues as The Village Gate, The House of Blues, and Jordan Hall and have performed with Ralph Peterson, Essiet Essiet, and David Lahm (Joni Mitchell). Of late, I've been brought into the jamband scene, working with Percy Hill and Vince Welnick (The Tubes, Grateful Dead).
I've recorded on rock band El Camino's "Autobiotics", Reggae outfit Dub Station's self-titled CD, Percy Hill's "LIVE", jazz guitarist Matt Marshaks "This Time Around", and Tuff Jeff Salen's "Endless Road".
My Quartet toured Russia in early 2005 (I DON'T recommend Siberia at this time of year!) and my Quintet played at Carnegie Hall in December of 2005. I plan to begin recording my own CD sometime in the Spring of 2006.
My influences include Nina Simone, Cassandra Wilson, Patti Cathcart and Chaka Khan.
I'm so glad to have found epinions. I've used it as a guide for many of my own purchases and it's great to be able to put in my own two cents as well
