About glowsw

Current Status: Unemployed. Painfully so.

A Little About Me I graduated from college with a BA in film studies and movies are pretty much what I do. I'm a freelance filmmaker and I live job to job. I've worked as Script Supervisor, Assistant Camera, Loader, and PA on various indie shorts and features. Now I've moved to LA and the work is more frequent, the projects bigger.

Film is my main interest but not my only one. I'm big into reading, favorite genres being science fiction and horror. I also like comics. And baseball. I listen to loud music that makes your ears bleed as well as classical that I can drift away with. I've studied a lot of cultural theory and I talk way too much about post-modernism. I'm a self-described geek but for some reason a lot of people think I'm actually pretty cool.

And if you would like more insight into the mind and life of a girl muddling her way through the entertainment industry, visit my blog Film Chatter: Thoughts, Reviews, Experiences. There you'll find all of my epinions reviews plus a whole lot more. I write about what it's like working in the film industry, I write shorter thoughts on films that aren't quite in depth enough for reviews, and other random film related things. Check it out.

To give people an idea of my taste in movies:
