About golden_braid
|
I am a graduate student in clinical health psychology at Ohio State University. That means that I spend most of my time reading technical journals, seeing clients, teaching, and studying.
When I’m not engaged in research or other grad school related activities, I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, bicycling, walking my dog, and talking with friends. I have a fairly large flower garden in my yard, as well as a vegetable garden. These gardens help keep me grounded and focused on what is important in life. They relax me and I love seeing how nature takes what I do and enhances it. I love watching the insects that have moved into my gardens. At the same time, I am curious about the (most) of the weeds. Some I let grow to see what they do, others I can’t wait to pull.
My dog is a 1 year-old golden retriever named Tess. My husband is involved in a K-9 search and rescue organization and this fall she will begin her training as a search and rescue dog. She will be terrific at this because her nose is always working. If she catches a scent, she can move that nose is more directions than I thought possible.
