About gopherm

I am 60 and I have been married to my first wife for almost 40 of those years. We have one daughter and a grandson and grand daughter.
We live in a small town in southern Maryland so we have the solitude of small town life with all the dirty politics that spill out of our nations capital.
I have read several of the reviews on a number of products and services. While many of them get into the highly technical nuances of products, I believe most people just want to know if they will enjoy or find the item or service useful and get their money's worth for what they will invest. The economy of any time in history, and now as much as any, dictates what we are willing to spend our money on. When I buy it I want it to meet my expectations, I want it to work like it is supposed to, and I want it to last until I think it should wear out or I get tired of it and donate it to charity. Frequently in the when shopping for a product or service I have choose what I feel will give me the best value and not the lowest initial purchase price.
My wife and I are empty nesters and like to walk, read, travel, watch TV and spend time together. She likes to exercise at the local gym and is a real yard work nut. And I probably spend too much time on the computer.
I can retire any day that I wish, but I choose to continue to work. I have either been in the military or worked for the government for 38 years. Just as I don't want to waste my own money, I want to make sure that all of us tax payers get the best value for our investments.
