Hi, my name is Gordy and I enjoy skiing, mt.biking, motocross, sportbikes, photography, reading, automobiles, high end audio and home theater, travel, and barbequeing with friends.
Skiing has been the main influence in my life and I have made a living off of it for the last 10 years. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm one of those guys you see in the ski magazines jumping cliffs or in ski movies skiing pristine Alaskan peaks that look like they are dead vertical. I was a Canadian(1998), and U.S.(2000) Extreme/Freeskiing champion. I travel a great deal for my "job" to Europe, Canada, and Alaska. I know it's a charmed life and I feel fortunate to have parlayed my passion into a career.
In the off season I get behind the camera by shooting bicycling professionally. I am a contributing photographer to Bike magazine, Mt. Bike, and Bicycling, among others. I live in S.L.C., Utah. I have a wonderful wife named Laura who sells health insurance. She joins me on many of my travels and we are on the road about 2 months total per year. I also have two dogs that I love, Lilly(golden retriever) and Barkley(black lab).
