I am married with 2 teenagers. I have been in the computer field for almost 20 years, presently working for one of the big 3 automotive manufacturers.
I try to take one trip a year overseas. Usually on the shoulder season which is just before or just after the summer. I save significant money on both airfare and rooms by traveling then as well as being able to go to museums and other sites without having to battle crowds.
My favorite musicians/bands are John Coltrane, Ray Charles, Van Morrisson, Grateful Dead, Roger Waters, and Bob Marley.
For entertainment reading I read mostly mysteries. My favorite mystery authors include Forsyth, Ludlum, Heffernan, and the master Peter O'Donnell. I also enjoy SciFi on occasion. Frank Herbert is my scifi favorite. For non-entertainment reading I enjoy books on Zen, and other eastern philosophies, as well as some of the Russian masters. I also read several alternative magazines each month to try to stay informed on current affairs.
