My additional interests are camping, poetry and I am a Home electronics freak.
I write most of my reviews on items that I like because when I am not fond of something I tend to be more negative than fair.

How I rate Epinions.
I have a few favorite authors that I visit on a regular basis. Otherwise I surf epinions for many topics of interest, rating as I go along. When an author catches my eye with a review I tend to go on and rate more of that authors reviews. I try to hold off on adding to my WOT until I rate a number of reviews.
I rate reviews on how well the author answered questions I had for myself before reading the script. I chose not to rate reviews with "not recommended" instead I post a comment on the review in question and come back to it later.
I rate fairly. I believe that whether or not I agree or disagree with any review, the author has a right to be judged fairly on his writing.
I always try to use epinions before purchasing a new product. I have found the variety and number of epinions offered is extremely helpful!
