I love to read; getting lost in a good book is my way of relaxing after a stressful day. I really enjoy music of all kinds. I was raised on old time fiddle music so I am partial to that, although I also enjoy rock (especially of the 60's and 70's) some country, easy listening among others. I play the piano for my own enjoyment. I love to travel and as you may see in many of my reviews I am passionate about Hawaii!
I love college football and am a rabid fan of the University of Washington Huskies....go Dawgs! I feel fortunate to be a part of a large happy family and have good friends. Good, true friends come along very rarely, so please don't ever take them for granted.
Who I am: I don't like to get into debates over controversial things but have decided to take the plunge here and tell you who I really am. I'm a Republican and a devoted listener of Rush Limbaugh. I believe in American citizens having the right to bear arms. I am pro-life and while we're talking about children, I do believe in spanking. I said spanking NOT beating. I believe in marriage between a man and a woman. I believe in keeping my marriage vows. I believe in capitalism and firmly believe that Bill Gates has been unjustly demonized. There I said all that. Love me, like me, hate me, I will always be ME!
The following are some of my favorite writers. They are kind and courteous and even though they may or may not be the most popular on this site, to me they are a big reason I enjoy this site so much.
