From 2001: My Epinions presence is sporadic - no hard feelings if you drop me from your WOT.

I don't make the "members I trust" list public anymore (see following paragraphs for my "recommend" list - Epinions authors I consider standouts). With my Epinions time being so limited these days, I'm going to use the WOT list as an intimate, personal collection of bookmarks... a reminder to check out reviews by authors I most enjoy reading. There are members on the list who trust me in return... and others who don't. I realize that tucking away my trust list may result in fewer "hits" to my epinions. But, I'm comfortable with that trade-off.

If you're disappointed to find the list invisible, I'm happy to single out a few favorites in this section of my profile page. (This is a short list, and by no means comprehensive. There are dozens more I enjoy and admire.) I'll start with AEOakley, who has contributed insightful, delightful children's book reviews (she's a children's author herself!).

CJsMommy infuses humor into many of her reviews. Her epinions are thorough without being tedious... a joy to read.

And then there's wavesandshells, who not only writes outstanding epinions (she's a must-read for parents of young children), but also has the distinction of being the member with the most lyrical, beautiful Epinions user name (imo).

Another not-to-be-missed mom/reviewer is tiasmom. Her wonderful epinions were some of the first I read here.

Moms aren't the only ones writing exceptional and/or heartfelt reviews on this site. I highly recommend the following dads: coldsteel7, JBDuckling, and kevlog. You can't go wrong with any of them.

I also find myself going back to Teach2755, who writes excellent book reviews and editorials on various topics, and GwenK, who writes with a refreshing, conversational tone that is highly readable (and whose eye opening skin care review pointed me in the right direction - thanks, Gwen!).
