About irvsmoot
I'm the married father of three boys, ages 23, 20 and 15. I am a biologist by training and a middle school science teacher by profession for the past thirty-four years. My job and my family keep my life interesting. I have practiced Shotokan Karate for 36 years, a wonderful form of exercise that I highly recommend. As a frustrated writer I had the dubious honor of having a science fiction short story rejected by Asimov Magazine (I'll keep trying, that's what writers do.)
