About jarvococker
When I was growing up my parents took me and my siblings to everything, regardless of subject matter. Thus when I was about six I was taken to see "Dressed to Kill," the cheesy De Palma film about some transvestite murderer/therapist, but Angie Dickinson's shower scene--tre magnifique. Talk about gratuity, but now I absolutely adore movies, cold showers and crossdressing. My favorite movies are 8 1/2, The Godfathers uno y duo, Anal Fury, Star Wars and Lawrence of Arabia; I think the best directors working right now are Tarantino and PT Anderson; and my biggest ambition is to get paid to watch movies for free and then write about them for a consumer public spoonfed the notion that Jaws and Star Wars destroyed filmmaking as art. Guess what--they didn't. The real answers are all in Easy Riders Raging Bulls, the best book ever written on the film industry. And yes, I now know that wasn't Angie's real body, but what is film if not extreme manipulation.
