I’m currently a full time Domestic Engineer, (That sounds much better than homemaker.... all of the sudden I feel so important.) and formerly an Administrative Assistant for American Drapery in Renton. (No, that’s not a plug, I wouldn’t even send my worst enemy to that place!) Joshua, our son who is ADHD, (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) requires a little more hands on parenting than some children so because of that and our newest addition, I took a very early retirement. Staying home has its boring moments, but hey, the hours are great, and when you don’t feel like doing any work, nobody’s around to care. How many people who do the 9 to 5 thing can say that?
In my spare time, I do a lot of rookie gardening. What I mean by this, is if I plant ten new shrubs, flowers, etc. in the spring, I consider the year a green thumb success if five are still living when the leafs fall.
I also collect Beanie Babies, enjoy drawing, arts and crafts, reading and surfing the internet.
