I started writing Epinions after my husband and I remodeled our kitchen. I figured, since I used Epinions to choose the best appliances ~ it seemed like good Karma to review them. As time went on, I found myself reviewing pretty much anything and everything. I'm an avid home cook and baker, and collect cookbooks.

I'm a geographer and cartographer by trade. I design maps using GIS (geographic information systems). My software of choice is ArcGIS 10, which I've used since 1991.

In addition to being a wife and homemaker, parenting and shlepping two active teens, I have a part-time job making maps that keeps me pretty busy.
