June '08 - Well it happened, I turned 39 and amazingly I didn't spontanously combust, nor did I pull the covers over my head and weep inconsolably.
July '09 - Well I hit 40 and wanted to weep inconsolably and unfortunately and still depressed as heck over hitting this particular milestone.
Hoping to find time to spend more time working on the blog and to resume writing here at Epinions as well.

When I started writing on Epinions I was a SAHM, and spent my free-time working on hobbies like playing on the internet, web-authoring, saving money, Wicca, herbalism, crystals, reading, and writing ...
Since then things have changed quite a bit. My husband has been on disability for more years than I care to go into and so I am now working outside the home again. I work in telemarketing but I did return to college in January of '07 and am slowly woring toward a Teaching Degree.
My girls have also grown, as children tend to do and are now 13 and 8. Yes, I am officially the parent of a teenager and it scares me to no end.
This coming spring will mark the 23rd anniversary of the night I met my hubby, as well as our 14th wedding anniversary.
My health is not much better now than it was then. Due to ever increasing symptoms from Endometriosis and Adhesions I had an abdominal hysterectomy at the age of 35, though continued symptoms and bloodwork seem to point to my having an ovarian remnant (a piece of ovary left behind accidentally which is still hormonally active). I have also been diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition which results in benign tumors growing on and under the skin and on peripheral nerves.
I hurt more days than I do not, am usually dealing with some degree of digestive woes, and am often woefully tired.
I am Wiccan and have been since I was 18. And while I no longer work with a coven, I still consider myself a Witch.
