I am now self-employed in mail order. After college and a degree in computer science, I had 10 years experience in computer consulting for large manufacturing firms. Tiring of the three piece suit life, I followed that career with 10 years in professional video (and computer animation) production. I use the skills the previous 20 years gave me to build my (now 10 year old) mail order firm, web sites, and catalogs, along with custom software for order fulfillment and JIT manufacturing and buying. Looks like I've broken the pattern... don't plan on a new career any more .
