About JohnSlough
I am 60 years old - teach electronics and mathematics at DeVry Institute- am happily married for two years.

Thats the short of, now for the longer version.

I have taught at Devry Institute for thirty years, and have little interest in retiring. It is a wonderful job that allows me to do what I love, and I get paid too.

I have been an avid photographer since high school, where I did most of the photography for the annual.

When my bride and I moved into our house a year ago, I began building a darkroom in the attic. It is not quite finished, but will be soon. I do only Black and White. Ansel Adams is my hero, and I would like to have an 8X10 field camera - but that would require more than I am willing to put into a hobby.

Since moving into this house, I have installed 200 square feet of hardwood flooring (glue down), wall papered the kitchen and bathroom, installed crown molding in the master bedroom, a hall and a game room that is now a library with 150 feet of built in book cases that I built in. I had always wanted to do these sort of projects, but somehow the opportunity never came. I feel much more like this is my home than I would if we had paid a contracter to do it all.

I joined Park Cities Baptist Church after many years of atheism, and believe that my life is now, as my wife says "Gods Deal".
