As a writer with more than twenty years of publishing experience, I love sharing my epinions in print. I'm currently in charge of product marketing for Freedom Interactive, a division of a large media company that owns some 40 newspapers and 8 TV stations.
I'm married to Karen, the love of my life, who already had my last name before the wedding (go figure!). My sixteen year old son is in High School, which brings about other issues and opportunities. I'm a gadget freak, love Tivo (haven't reviewed one though), and really love music (folkie), my Ipod (filled with folk music!), books (Anne Tyler and Michael Connelly are my favorite authors), travel (US mainly), and movies (particularly art films).
I've written nine books and hundreds of magazine and online articles. My last book, Get Fit With Technology - How to Lose Weight Using Your PC , came out in 2005. I'm also a Certified Tax Preparer, a die-hard Cubs fan, and a Saluki alum (Southern Illinois University, Carbondale).
