I love to travel. My husband and I own various timeshare weeks & points and like to sightsee and sometimes just relax while we're on vacation. Our two kids have had numerous trips by air, ship & train to see quite a few places in the States. I'm so glad we've traveled with them; now our son is in the Marines and our daughter, who is still home, is anxious to become 18 and go out on her own, preferring to "work" rather than "vacation with parents" [grin]. Now our vacations are so ~~ different ~~ with just the two of us.
I love to read, especially romance novels but also books of certain authors, like Dean Ray Koontz. (Quite a difference from the romance genre!) I've always loved to read, but never expected to work my lifetime career in the Clerical/Cataloging aspect of a Library.
I enjoy video features. Besides keeping up with the new movies, I still like the old comedies such as those starring: Doris Day, Abbott & Costello, Chevy Chase and so many others. Yet I still enjoy the Great Britain mysteries such as the series of Cracker and Inspector Morse.
My online adventures have been mostly in the research for travel and many miscellaneous things. I think I'll enjoy writing reports here and hope I may be of some help to those wanting to travel. I plan on using this site myself for our future trips.
