Thanks for reading my reviews and visiting my profile.
A little bit about me, so you can understand where I'm coming from in my reviews.
I'm a US expat based out of Sao Paulo Brazil, working for a global US-based company, I do about 200K miles/year travel (in coach!) in Latin America, the US and Europe. At 2.02 meters (6'7") tall, I care a lot about the size of the seats.
Since it's all mostly business travel, I usually need to get work done on the flights and in the airport. Executive lounge access and quality for frequent flyers and availability of exit aisle/bulkhead seats are very important to me.
For hotels, the things I look for are non-smoking rooms that really don't reek of smoke, gyms with working equipment (e.g, the treadmill doesn't slip and slide for anyone over 50kg/100lb), broadband internet access in the room (that works well with VPN), as well as a hotel that will control noisy guests.
I guess if you're a backpacker or leisure traveler some of my airline/hotel reviews will seem picky. But I think these things are important to know for other similar minded travelers.
I'm a big fan/purchaser of gadgets. Since I live in Brazil (where gadgets are 3x the price of the US), I usually buy gadgets on a trip up to the US. Since I'll be using them in Brazil, I can't easily return things to the store or ship them back, so I look for dependability, quality of support (e.g., firmware updates) and fidelity of marketing claims.
Hope my reviews are helpful for you!
