About Juliejules

I'm an British girl - a freelance writer and secondary school teacher who has worked for 5 years in media and academia. My loves in life are literature, eating out and traveling as often as I can. My favorite city in the whole world is Venice at the moment, but I also love New York (where I've lived for three years) and the whole of the United States and Canada.
My ambitions are to travel and write more!
I'm a positive person (although I still get the blues too) and most of my reviews seem to be ultra-positive. Don't worry 'bout it too much though - I can be nasty when I want to be. BEWARE!
Here are some random likes and loves and basic facts you never really wanted to know!!!:
Favorite places: Brighton, London, (Old) York (England), New York (You know where that is), Paris, Venice, Quebec City, Seville, Cassis (France)
Favorite pastimes: Reading (100+ books a year), Music (2000 CD's in collection and ever growing, bank balance ever decreasing (circles)), Friends ((or should I say 'pubs') 10+ pints a week (quite or even 'too' mild really)), Eating Out (increasing waistline, bank balance ever decreasing), Sleeping (more hours than normal), Teaching (oh! that's my job - shame it's the school holidays at the moment)
Favorite words: Cosy, marina, plush.
Ambition: To travel the world and be paid for it - just once - please somebody!!! To learn to speak Italian fluently. To be more tidy.
