I live in High Point, North Carolina and cover nonprofits and religion for the News & Record. In my spare time, I collect cheesy pop culture, bizarre old hi-fi records and read so much it makes my wife angry. You'll notice that most of my reviews are raves. That's because I prefer to write about things I love. If I truly don't like a book or a CD, I won't finish it. In some cases, though, I do get all the way through something and feel the urge to warn others that it sucks mightily.
