About k1rdm
I grew up in Harrisburg, PA in the 60's and 70's. Graduated high school in 1980, and went to work as a machinist. After 10 years of that, I decided to head to NH to pursue a Mechanical Engineering Degree. Graduated from UNH in 1994, and now work as an engineer for a large defense contractor. In my private life, I enjoy photography, ham radio, and tinkering around the house. I also adore my wife and our young daughter. We own our house, and are constantly making improvements to it. This provides a great opportunity to share personal experiences from items used on our projects. I have been messing around with computers since the early 1980's. I originally started out on bulletin boards (BBS) and actually got an early taste of the internet though usenet around 1985 or 86. I can not now imagine life without the internet or worldwideweb. I value Epinons as great source of information, and as my first stop when trying to research products, retailers, and services. Thanks for stopping by.
