Wow, I haven't updated my profile since about 2003! It's about time I updated this thing... I'm a web developer living on the Canada-US border, surrounded by some of the prettiest scenery you can imagine. Right now, it's winter and I'm inside all warm and cozy watching the snow fall. Ahhh, it's so pretty!

Professionally, I'm a web/database developer in charge of all IT functions for a science grant project and I also do a lot of freelance web development. I absolutely love my job!

I am also somewhat of a hockey nut... my jersey collection is ever-expanding (thanks Ebay!); my cubicle at work is filled with Canucks memorabilia and I've even got a Canucks teddy bear sitting on my bed. I attended my first-ever NHL game in November, 2005, and since then I have attended several more. I just LOVE going to the game! However, tickets can be expensive so I catch most games on TV. I have been known to bounce around between two or more games at a time, thanks to Center Ice. GO CANUCKS GO!

I am also an avid boater. I have a classic Glasspar Avalon runabout that let's me more fully enjoy the Puget Sound region with occasional forays into inland waters. I got the boat primarily to engage more fully in one of my fave summer pasttimes -- crabbing. I got tired of watching all the crabbers go out in the morning with empty pots and watching them come in a couple of hours later with full pots while I was on the pier all day with little or nothing to show for it! ;) Now that I'm out there with the rest of the boat-based crabbers, I often stop to pick up my pier-based buddies so they too can experience the joys of a full pot. LOL
