Hey! Guess who finally got his web design company started? DigitalIM.com - let me know what you think!
| Most Entertaining Reviewer Contest | Alright. Because I love hearing from fellow epinionators, and I love funny/entertaining reviews, I decided to put together a "Most Entertaining Reviewer" contest. If you know a reviewer that writes epinions that have you laughing out loud, or at least give you that goofy grin on your face because you feel weird laughing at a computer, and they still write quality reviews, nominate them for the contest. I will read some of the reviews by the nominees... so if there are any particularly funny ones, be sure to point them out in the email, and choose 10 or so to vote on. I will then set up a poll, and leave it open for a week or two (depending on how many votes there are, or if there is a clear winner, etc.), then announce the (un)Official Most Entertaining Reviewer award. (It will probably be a dumb graphic for your profile, but also the love and respect of the masses (maybe)). Click Here to nominate someone.
Update: The Nomination Period will be extended indefinately... I need more nominations to make this worthwhile. |

Hey! I finally launched the new web site for my agency, BCHealthInsurance.com. Since I'd like to remain an unbiased epinionator, I'd like to ask that a couple fellow members review it in the Site Reviews category. EMail me if you write one, and if it's good I'll link to it from my profile and possibly the site itself.
For those of you who care, I'm 18, I'm from a sucky town near Cincinatti, a city bigger than mine that I can never spell correctly, and I like to go on epinions when I'm really bored (which happens all to often lately).
I make web sites, and just got my insurance license. I run this site for my dad's insurance agency, so go buy some insurance since I can get commissions now. I'm working on this site as the new one for the agency, it should look a lot more professional, and have more valuable information.
I applied to become an Auto Expert, but then I realized that aside from the increased traffic, being an expert must suck. I don't feel like being held to a higher set of standards. I don't think I need to write a 175 word explanation of what it takes for me to not recommend your review, You knew it sucked when you wrote it.
I just started a webring for epinions writers that goes in your profile. I'm told it's a good idea.
I think the epinions love it/hate it list should contain things not mentioned in epinions, for example:
Update: 6/27/2000 I think I'm going to keep a "Things I Hate" list in my profile, just because I can't even imagine the negative response if I did it in an editorial.
I Hate: People who chew with their mouth open Girls in Saturns who try to race me when I'm in the Mercedes Dodge Neons in general, especially with 4" resonated exhaust tips and rims worth more than the car People on epinions who try to sound smart by correcting people's grammar, especially the ones that make 3 grammatical errors in their correction. Nine out of Ten Geo Tracker Owners The way two-week disposible contact lenses feel when you've worn them for four months and slept in them for three nights straight. "Exotic Dancers" who think that just because you're carrying a lot of money they don't need to work for their tip.
Hey, I just thought of another list that would help you get to know a little more about me. Someone told me that that's the point of this part of your profile... I always thought it was to put up counters and link to your epinions... Anyway...
Things I Find Funny: That I get hit on more by 40 year old ladies then 18 year old girls. The look on the kid's face that was driving a 5.0 that just got smoked by a 4-cyl. Benz. When I write an auto review HR'd by two experts and get SR's from abusers I've busted.
People I like: drlolipop: a most trusted member and excellent writer cleanshaven100% pure texan genius wantico worth clicking just to see his profile picture mattlanghorne a personal friend of mine and great music reviewer chrisbickel ladies and gentleman, chrisbickel, need i say more?

This is my garage, I like convertibles. The yellow one is fast, the white one isn't.
(For the seriously uncultured, the one of the left is a '66 Mustang Convertable, and on the right is a '98 Mercedes-Benz SLK230)
