The chances of me lasting more than a fortnight at this place are slim, mostly because of my lackadaisical approach to "reviewing" consumer products. In other words, my writing style is incoincidentally comparable to the way my mind rambles. Sorry if that bothers you. :(

The khanark Epinions Log
Week 2 - It has come to my attention that some Epinions members consider me a menace. They believe I'm here only to make some quick cash before my account gets terminated for mysterious reasons. This is untrue. My presence here is twofold: to allow those who enjoy my contributions an occasional chuckle, and to give the upstanding community members of Epinions an opportunity to exercise their "Not Helpful" rating fingers.
Day 5 - It appears to be good form to describe your own rating style and Web of Trust philosophy. I rate things well if like them, and bad if I don't (is that a correct method to follow?). I trust people that I trust, and don't trust people that I don't trust. That's the best way I can describe my rating and Web of Trust patterns.
Day 4 - Natch accepted my challenge to duel, but failed to make his appearance at the fight. One point for khanark!
On a different note, it appears that attracting readers is harder than I had originally imagined. One kind soul suggested that I rate other Epinions members' reviews. I think I'll try that and see how that goes.
Day 2 - Well, so far this whole Epinions thing has been pretty rewarding. My first contribution received a ton of Not Helpfuls (I think that is a good thing, right?) and I now have a new one up. I'm happy.
However, I've also run into an old enemy of mine from ages past. The name is natch, and this soul has offended my honor by giving me a Very Helpful. For this, natch will be watched by my keen eyes.
