I'm a freelance writer, focusing on computer and film topics. My short story, "Spinning," appeared in the Lowell Pearl; I've also written a screenplay, called "Putt Putt." My new book, "The Whole Internet: The Next Generation" will be out in October, and my movie reviews have appeared in the Boston Phoenix and at NewEnglandFilm.com.
Computing has been an interest since I was in grade school. My first programs were saved on an old tape recorder, but I lost them when the batteries ran out. Since that time, I've learned a little more about programming, but I've focused on writing about the Internet and online games.
I grew up in California and but went to college in New York. In 1996, I further reduced my marketable skills with a master's degree in creative writing from Emerson College. Now, I live in New York with my husband, Adam, and our daughter, Kylie.
