I am a full time finance professional. I am always on the lookout for good books, especially "histories and mysteries." My wife and I recently restored an old barn (1840's) which was converted into a house in the 1940's. So we did a lot of research on products which we would love to share. I only wish I had known about epinions when we did our research. This is a terrific site.
I am very interested in Great American Houses, architecture, antiques, gardening, etc. My wife and I also take in stray animals (at one time we had 5 cats!) which we house until we can find homes for them. Our house is in a country setting, so we spend a lot of time on gardening, feeding birds, mowing the fields, and just keeping up our old home. We also love music of all types (except country and rap), esp. the American songbook.
I have a great love of humanity (it's the people that I don't like).
