I'm 34 and a homeschooling SAHM to my three kiddoes. I occasionally suffer from insomnia and as a result will sit at the computer and compose Epinions or Long Biographies or other such rot.
Let's see... what would you, the reader, want to know about me? I was born in Texas, raised in Oklahoma, and have lived very happily in Iowa since 1996. I'm a committed Christian, but I have eschewed "religion" in favor of a "relationship" -- the personal and very real relationship I have with my Creator and my Savior. I play lead keyboard in a band and contribute vocals from time to time... music is a very special language through which I can communicate to God the things I cannot express in words. I cannot pass by a piano without sitting down and playing it... at least, not without great effort or a little sign reading "Antique Museum Piece -- Do Not Touch" on it.
I am a great appreciator of humor, and occasionally feebly attempt to engage in it myself. I enjoy a good war of words and am unafraid to leap into the middle of controversy (as long as it's written -- Heaven Preserve Me if I actually try to TALK -- someone might think I had blonde roots). I believe abortion is clearly murder. I believe that income taxes are immoral and unConstitutional. I do not believe that Jesus used "thee" and "thou" when he spoke. Nor did he wear a suit and tie to synagogue.
Give Iowa a chance... it's not as backwoods as you think!! Nor is it flat and treeless; on the contrary, if you've ever looked at a Grant Wood painting, you've got an idea of Iowa. It's a wholesome, decent place. Come on over for a visit!
