I'm in my mid 30s, have been married to my Prince charming since December 2001 and am a product junkie!
Beginning in college, I started working for Lancome as the perfume sprayer for the newly launched Poeme, then quickly learned the ropes and became a makeup artist. I also became an Esthetician during this period. I eventually went on to become a manager and skin care consultant with Clarins, then spent a couple years at Estee Lauder in management. I also spent time back at Lancome as a business manager, before moving out of state and doing freelance work for Laura Mercier and Philosophy at a trendy and upscale cosmetics shop. The retail hours weren't my thing, and as much as I love the artistry of makeup, it's not my life calling. I took a detour, going to work with children with learning disabilities in a county program, more specifically with children who have Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. I did this (7th grade and then 2nd grade) in NY for 2 years full-time while continuing to freelance in cosmetics.
Now I'm happy as can be as a wife and stay at home mommy to 2 little boys. I have my own business making skin care products and it is sold in several locations across Upstate NY and over the net.
