Okay, the basics on me. Yes, I'm a stay-at-home mom, and darned happy to be. No, this does not mean that I sit on the couch eating bonbons and watching soap operas all day - I don't even like soap operas, and bonbons are just okay. The sweet baby in my avatar is now a wild 'n crazy about-to-be four-year-old (guess it's time to update that pic, huh?), and big sister to another sweet little girl, who was born at home on December 8, 2007 (AMAZING experience, that!) I'm somewhat of an Internet addict, scrapbooker, bookworm and knitting junkie. We're a homeschooling family, and my daughter is social as they come. I also cloth diaper, breastfeed and co-sleep, which I suppose makes me crunchy. Oh, and Bratz dolls will never be allowed in my house.

I am a Christian, but not without a sense of humor. I have an unfortunate sarcastic streak, and don't appreciate insinuations that parenting is a less valuable job than one resulting in a paycheck. I speak my mind, albeit in as polite and tactful manner as possible (or as the situation warrants.) I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

I try to make my reviews interesting, although there aren't but so many spins one person can put on raves of diapers and shampoo. At any rate, I greatly appreciate those of you who take the time to read them, and hope you'll find them helpful. Time is precious - thanks for yours.

I am very, very sorry to have been MIA from Epinions for so long - it was truly my intention to read each and every review posted by those on my WOT. Life happens, but I hope to get back into the swing of things soon - I've missed Epinions, and I've missed my friends here. I'll be back to reading very soon, and my WOT's reviews will be my top priority.
