I believe in the Magic in Believing.
About Me:
I was brought up and spent my early years in India, the son of a British Army Cavalryman, between the two World wars.
I served in the British Army for 12 years and traveled widely during the process. After my Army service, not loving the sedentary occupation of office work, I decided to become a representative for a Swiss Shoe manufacturer and spent many long and happy years travelling all over the world, building ranges of footwear.
In latter years I have worked closer to home in Colchester, Britains oldest recorded town. I have worked for the local newspaper group writing holiday and travel advertorial pieces as well as selling the advertising space that accompanies such editorial works.
My wife, who has been with me for fifty three years, supports me in all that I do and my only son, Scott, married to Susan and with one child, lives locally but travels, daily, to London. Scott works for a U.S. based IT Company. I enjoy life, travel, reading, writing and also run a Judo Club for junior players and have done so for the past 25 years.
I have written Opinions, Surveys and Reviews for other
Internet Sites such as, Mouthshut, Ciao and Dooyoo as well as the defunct Writtenbyme and I have just started on PearlSoup by invitation.
I have stopped writing for some of the above for one reason and one reason only and that is that nobody seems to read a lot of what is written by submitters and prefer to flit from opinion to opinion creating havoc. This infantile behaviour does not seem to apply on epinions as far as I can see.
What I write is and will continue to be from the heart - I do not promise quantity but will attempt to provide quality. Help in achieving this would be welcomed.
