Simply stated, I like most everything, with woodworking and technology at the top of my list. I am a project manager in an archtiectural firm as well as a partner in a small woodworking company. In maintain my own woodworking shop and design and build furniture as well as built-ins, trimwork and some general contracting. I "grew up" in the trade wiht both my grandfathers being carpenters, my time off was typically spent on a job site. I beleive I was maybe 8 the first time I used my grandfathers skil saw.
After college, I worked designing, engineering and building timberframe homes and have now returned to architecture (though I do miss playing with really big pieces of wood and the smell on my clothes after days worked in the shop).
With a good friend from college, we have established a small woodworking company and two small shops (we each have our own) and primarily take on projects for family and friends, as we both have "real" jobs.
Lastly, I tend to have an opinion about everything and as such find myself here to hopefully be of help to others.
