About lunardaisy

I'm a 29-year-old newlywed working mom.
I work full-time as a Systems Integration Specialist, which is a fancy way of saying that I design wide-area networks. In my spare time I love to camp, and travel every chance I get. Even a short weekend trip makes me happy.
I've also performed in a lot of community theatre, and enjoy practically all the aspects of performance.
My background is rather bizarre and diverse. In college I majored in music, then nursing, then zoology, and then quit school, since I was a senior and still had no idea what I wanted to study!
While in college I worked for an MRI facility. I have also worked as a retail sales clerk, an administrative assistant, a copy editor for a newspaper, editor-in-chief of a publishing company, editorial assistant on a monthly magazine, residential technician in a group home, and technical support for an ISP. Often I had two or three jobs at a time while in school.
While I think my path has certainly had its roadblocks and switch-backs, I have enjoyed the variety of my work, and have learned a lot and experienced many things. I must say, though, that I hope the wandering wondering years are behind me now.
My daughter, Kirstin is 10 years old, and in the fifth grade. She is a very imaginative little girl, and loves to write just as much as I do. She is also taking violin lessons, playing trumpet in band, and sings in a church choir.
