I have very eclectic taste in movies and music. I really adore indie films, but I also have a soft spot for the big blockbuster no-brainers. I tend to review the more obscure products and films, because the world doesn't really need yet another opinionated review of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (which I love). I try to keep it interesting and helpful, but feedback is always very appreciated (even if you hate my reviews, I would like to hear from you). You can always email me, either to offer comments or just to chat.
Anyhoo,when I decide whether or not to read someone's reviews, I will usually check to see if I agree with/like what they have written about other stuff. So, here's a list of stuff I like and don't like. If you agree with most of it, you might like my reviews. If not, well....you still might like my reviews.
TV Shows:
-- I think Babylon 5 is quite possibly the coolest show on TV (God bless the Sci-Fi Channel for bringing it back). I don't know what that says about me, but oh well.
-- Other shows I watch and enjoy: Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Dexter, The Office, 30 Rock, The Closer
-- Shows that suck: The Real World (is that even still on?), Yes Dear, Deal or No Deal, ER (what happened to you?), Bones
Movies:
-- Stellar: The Piano, Star Wars, Requiem for a Dream, Almost Famous, The Matrix, Dr. Strangelove, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Aliens
-- The Good: X-Men, Being John Malkovich, Bring It On, Transamerica, The Departed, Stranger Than Fiction, The 40 Year Old Virgin
-- The Bad: Armageddon, Hannibal, Alien 3, The Faculty, Fantastic Four
-- The Ugly: Event Horizon, Robocop 3
Video Games:
--Good: Forza, Halo (duh), Fable, Fatal Frame 2, Wii Sports, Fear Effect 2 (see my review!),Final Fantasy series, Dead or Alive, Tetrisphere (best. game. ever.), Puyo Puyo (an obscure Dr. Mario-esque game from Japan - the fun never stops)
