Born in 1973, I am an avid history buff and love cinema, especially the decade of the 1970s. I have an M.A. in Sociology and am currently employed in the field of education. With my wife (a wonderfully intelligent, deeply cynical woman), I am hoping to discover the mysteries of life in the midst of the madness that is American culture. And, if you must know, my idols include: H.L. Mencken, John Marshall, Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, Stanley Kubrick, Richard Hofstadter, Woody Allen, and Ambrose Bierce.
