Guitar playing is one of my favorite hobbies. I actually sang and played guitar in a really bad 80s copycat band a bit while in college. It got me nowhere except on the Deans list for low grades so I put an end to that so I could get down to business. Got married, finished college and started the working grind.
Two kids and 20 years later, my musical interest is migrating more to acoustic but I continue to play my old electrics for fun.
I also enjoy spending time doing pretty much anything outdoors with my family. Camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming, etc.............................
Final thought: Our kids grow up so fast that one day you change their diapers and wonder when will it ever end and the next, they ask you to borrow the car. Once they are out on their own, I doubt they will remember what brand of shoes we bought them or how much money we made but they will remember the times we spent together as a family... Time is the best present we can give our kids...
