About My Rating System
To summarize my rating system: I rate your reviews like they're crap. During my first week or so here at epinions.com, I was giving out Very Helpful's to anyone with a Somewhat Helpful review. As of early July, however, that all changes: nowadays, a Very Helpful from me is like a Fantastic To The Max. A review most people say is Very Helpful? You're lucky if I give it Somewhat Helpful. I am truly looking for people who not only give their opinion, but are actually making sense -- they don't go babbling off, they make helpful comparisons, they (unlike me) don't make biased or totally pointless opinions, and they actually tell us what we want to know. That's rare, and I'm looking for. Also, I don't come here to find out if a product I'm admiring is any good or not (I do sometimes, though); I come here hoping to find a product that's good, without anything in mind. Maybe you can help me decide - is it good, or is it bad? BTW, if you can give something everyone likes 1 star and succeed with your review, actually persuading me that this thing is bad, you get an automatic Very Helpful.
