I am 31, married, and have one child on the way! I just started using epinions and find it both useful and entertaining. I have always been the type of person to give advice on various purchases (whether someone wanted it or not), so this site is a perfect sounding board for me! ;-)
I really want to use epinions to help others determine whether a product is for them or not. To me, this not only means reeling off features and benefits, but trying to accurately portray my "experience" with a particular product - good or bad.
I will only write a review of a product that I feel I have enough expertise on to provide beneficial information for other readers. My aim will never be to write a review for the sake of writing a review.
When I first registered for epinions, I didn't even know that people got paid for their epinions. Now that I have a little experience with the site, it seems that one must invest LOTS of time on the site to make any significant amount of money. Personally, I do not have that time to invest, especially with a baby soon to arrive on the scene!
I simply hope that people will appreciate the effort I put into my reviews, and most importantly, find them helpful. In addition, I look forward to utilizing other epinions to make informed purchase decisions in the future. I know that many of the epinions I read will be of great value to me, and for that I thank you all in advance. I will try to rate the reviews I read fairly.
The real reason I am here is that I love the feeling I get when someone has found my advice truly useful.
