There is the need. And there is the promise.
When a product fails to meet my needs as promised, I complain. When a product fails to meet my needs, I suggest improvements. When a product meets my needs as promised, it is expected and therefore not deserving of praise. However, when a product exceeds my expectations, that is when I provide compliments and recommend to others. Unfortunately, few exceed my expectations.
