About mht
Welcome to my profile! The tornado icon is a metaphor of the way my life is sometimes: a whirlwind of many things. :-)

I'm having fun with Epinions although it's probably eating up too much time. :-) If I had to eat based on what I make through Epinions, eating at McDonald's would break the bank--I've made less dollars than hours I've put in by a long shot!)...hmmm, I think I read something about "starving writer, starving artist". I guess academia is a way to write (& teach) without starving. :-)

If you read what's in this profile, it gives a half-decent introduction to this guy named Morse (if you can believe it, I was named after the avenue we lived on: my parents figured I'd get lost sometime. They were right!).

I have two loving parents, an older sister, brother-in-law and three super cute little nieces named Hannah, Serena and Naomi. The love of my life is my wife Sarah and we delight in our daughter, Hope and our son Enoch. I was born in Korea, grew up in the Bay Area in California and have lived in a few other states like Illinois, Texas, Minnesota, Florida...West, Midwest, Southeast...covering the gamut. I'm now back in the Chicagoland. I'm a pretty picky reviewer in general with a habitual editorial eye (this includes form and substance)...so ratings generally mean a whole lot more. I try to rate the way I see it, although I don't doubt that I have biases like everyone else. For clues, tips and hints on what I look for and how to improve one's writing, check out my Epinions on writing Epinions.

I've only written on things that I have a sufficient basis to write from & have put a lot of effort into writing, editing and re-writing my Epinions--trying to pack in lots of well-written, helpful information for you! I try to be accurate and honest, trustworthy and reliable in what I write.

Thanks to those members who put me on their WOT (Web of Trust)! You all know who you are and I appreciate it!
