I am a 28 year old stay at home mom with two young children and have been married for almost 8 years. My 5 year old son son is Autistic. I am a proud Spa Junkie and also enjoy golfing. I worked at several hotels when I was younger and am easily irritated by poor service, whiney hotel guests (although I can be one of them) and dirty or cheap linens.
My current hotel advice:
Be nice to your desk clerk, he or she has the power over your room and can be a great friend to have.
Don't always settle with the first room you are given if you unhappy with it. As a former desk clerk, I would give out the crappy rooms (view of parking lot) in my day and the more experienced hotel guest would challenge me and I would end up giving that guest a better room.
Always smell your bedspread! When in doubt, call housekeeping and get a fresh one.
My current life advice:
Be nice to your spouse. He or she has the power over you happiness in some aspect.
Don't always settle with the first guy who pops the question. It's only a question and you will probably be asked again at some point.
