About mizsallyforth
For the past thirty-some years I have been self-employed in a para-legal profession. Now that I'm semi-retired,( I just can't seem to totally 'let go'), I have time and opportunity to research and complete my book "SallyForth Sister"( Oh, is there a connection between. . .?) My elevator speech (all writers must have one) is about women of the Victorian-era. Upon having fulfilled their obligation to their aging and/or ill parents as a caretaker or nurse, they split - and not just to the closest large city. Oh no, these ladies went the distance - all the way to Africa, Asia, India, South America - virtually every continent. Why? Because finally, they could. Aside from that my interests include researching Black Bear in the Oregon coast range, and trying to convince someone ( anyone!) there really are (still) wolverine in western Oregon - despite what the ODFW have to say. I'm fortunate to have family close by that gather often. If there was one thing our parents taught us, it was to stay close to one another, to love and help each other. We do that very, very well - for which I am so grateful.
