About mjlee22
I often come to this site many times to research user opinions before purchasing stuff. Guess I decided I should finally join... I was in Customer Support R&D at Hewlett Packard for 17 years, so when it comes to products and services of any kind, I tend to have high expectations for quality, ease-of-use, good documentation, and product support. As a consumer, I favor products/companies that are not wasteful and are environmentally conscious. I especially prefer products that are designed to be reused or enhanced as your needs grow, rather than designed to be thrown away. Unfortunately, few companies (including my employer) seem to share this sentiment. The US manufacturing culture is too focused on items being disposable and instantly gratuitous rather than long-lasting. But I keep hoping that will change. Of course, it starts with us consumers...
