About moneymaven
Ginnie studied early childhood education at Maryland University. After ten years of working in daycares, she took a sabbatical and never came back. She worked as a developmental disabilities counselor. She was getting bored but instead of changing careers again, she decided to spice up her life by joining the EMS unit at the local fire department. She worked as an emergency medical technician and CPR instructor. Life was perfect until health problems made it necessary to give up the volunteer fire service. Now Ginnie takes her skills helping people with mental retardation develop skills for daily living and uses them to teach people how to budget their money and get out of debt. Ginnie paints, sculpts, takes snorkeling/diving vacation and watches lots of TV. Ginnie's a hopeless trekker even though the writting has taken a sad nose dive since the great "Star Trek: The Next Generation" days. She's single and has no children (unless you count her cat, Lady Jane.) She has a roommate who has disabilities and they are the best of friends. She has opinions about everything, so if she did not write a review about it, it's because she hasn't got one yet:)
