MY DAUGHTER
My daughter was born on April 22, 1999 at 11:17 p.m. She was 8 lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long.
MY DAUGHTER'S LIFETIME MILESTONES!
Sleeps through the night on 6/21/99
First laugh on 8/10/99
Rolls over on 8/12/99
Hold bottle on 9/27/99
First tooth on 12/1/99
Crawls on 1/10/00
Pulls herself up on 1/27/00
Claps Hands on 1/31/00
First Step on 4/22/00
And finally she said her first word (uh-oh) on 7/18/00
Her second word (mama) on 2/15/01.
Her vocabulary has really started to blossom starting in August of 2001. She is now saying more words than I am able to count. She has made such great progress in just a few short months.
And now she's 13 years old, in AP classes in school, the gifted program, and AVID. You would never know she had any problems talking.
Daughter # 2
On April 11, 2002 my 2nd daughter was born at 2:10 a.m. She weighed 8 pounds 15 ounces and was 22 inches long. It has been a great joy to have this beautiful baby girl in our lives.
I have updated my breastfeeding review since having my 2nd daughter. So if anyone would like to read it just click here: I am not so sure breastfeeding is best for everyone. I hope to get a better reaction from it than I did before.
IT'S A BOY
November 1, 2007 I got the best early birthday present ever. My son was born at 8:00 a.m. He was my smallest weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has been such a joy to have in our lives and our family finally feels complete.
Or Was It?
In 2008 we were surprised and excited to find out that I was pregnant again. Unfortunately it was not meant to be. At 20 weeks pregnant on December 6, 2008 I gave birth to a still born baby girl. We named her Celeste Alia. She was due on her oldest sister's birthday and not a day goes by that I do not think of her.
But for every tragedy there is a light at the end of the tunnel. While we thought we were done with our son this tragic event made us realize that there was room for another. On February 2, 2011 we welcomed a 3rd baby girl into the family. She is full of spunk, vigor, and grace. What a whirlwind the last thirteen years of motherhood have been, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have 4 beautiful, bright, smiling children and one angel watching over us all. What more could I ask for?
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I am thirty four years old, and I am a stay at home mom. I enjoy baking and I am very much enjoying the time I have alone with my children.
Hubby and I have been married for 13 years this March.
