About Montepenny
I have worked as a professional writer for almost 20 years now, scribing everything from news articles to feature profiles to editorials. At one point, I was actually paid to write movie reviews (if you can believe that) and not paid to blog about the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Philadelphia Phillies and my experiences as a bipedal lifeform.

I've also worked as a copyeditor, proofreader and graphic designer and cannot remember the last time I had a job that didn't involve some sort of deadline. I've also had poetry published. Quite simply, writing is in my blood and I try to donate as much as humanly possible.

On a personal note, I've been married to the same lovely woman for 18 years now and I have a streaky jump shot that goes in more than it doesn't. Fortunately, I can also drive to both the left and the right side of the court.
