About mp3jockey
Mp3Jockey has been in the computer field since the mid eighties, doing a bit of everthing: fixin, programming, building, selling and tweaking: but mainly enjoyin. He has also had experience in the HiFi field as well, starting out whe he built his first HEATHKIT and EICO receivers and Amplifiers, owned his first PHASE LINEAR amp, built by Bob Carver in the early seventies. He has also owned some classic speakers in his day, like the KLH 17's, the AR 3A's, and various electrostatic loudspeakers, using Bi and Tri amplification techniques long before it was in vogue. He also LOVES music, and is currently building a home brew Audio server for his home, using MONKEYS AUDIO to losslessly backup his entire CD collection. He devours several monthly periodicals, including CPU Mag, Maxumum PC, PC World, PC Mag, Stereophile, Secrets of Home Theatre & Hi Fidelity, and is a regular lurker/contributer on the Audio Video Science Forum. He currently gets all the exercise he needs chasing his 2 year old grand daughter around the house and yard.
